Sneak up on skeletons and bump them to make them drop their hearts. Don't let aggro skeletons touch you or you'll lose heart stuff. If you fill up your heart meter, you win! If you empty your heart meter, you lose.

Use the left and right arrow keys to move, up arrow  or spacebar to jump.

Much too slippery for a platformer based off of stealth and timing.

What about the physics did you find annoying? I've been playing it for testing so much that I don't notice anymore. Is it literally not enough friction on the platforms, lack of air control, or something else?

It's both, really. If you're headed full speed in one direction it takes a few seconds to switch directions, which is generally very annoying for a platformer.  It's both in the air and on the ground; I believe having a set speed of movement instead of indefinite acceleration would help.

Thanks for the feedback! I have a bunch of knobs I can twist for the physics, I will experiment with some other options once the jam is over.

Neato! Thanks for the game :)

New build is up. Platforms have a lot more friction and the acceleration curve is a lot shorter.

Very nice looking classic platformer and the sounds are great too. The gameplay works well after you get used to the physics. It felt very difficult to approach the skeletons without them noticing and going after you. I guess  for a change it's nice to have AI enemies that are smarter than you.
